Yes, it IS a bit pricey - but considering it is at Kennedy Center, with GREAT views, the prices are OK. Much less expensive than the fancy restaurant next door. The best deal is the (large) salad! Generally closed if it is a day with no performances - Actually, From May to October, the best place for light eats at Kennedy Center is the outdoor cafe at the Reach.

I had the pleasure of dining at the KC Cafe at the Kennedy Center recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking view of the Potomac River and the iconic DC skyline. The restaurant's location within the Kennedy Center provides a unique and unparalleled backdrop for any meal. Speaking of the menu, the culinary offerings at KC Cafe are a true delight for the senses. The selection of dishes showcased a fusion of flavors, blending traditional American cuisine with international influences. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. The dessert selection was equally impressive, with indulgent options like the chocolate fondant and the creme brulee. They were the perfect sweet conclusion to an already unforgettable meal. In summary, the KC Cafe at the Kennedy Center is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. The combination of breathtaking views, impeccable service, and exquisite cuisine makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to elevate their dining experience in Washington, D.C. How nice to enjoy a lovely meal on top of the Kennedy Center! Great selection of entrees, from sandwiches to steak. Our steaks were cooked so differently though, one well, the other rare on the inside. But the kind workers who took our trays and the gorgeous view made up for that tenfold.
